April - Early May Salmo report

April - insane action as reported by everyone .... We would fish the 50-70 fow gore the first hour, catch lakers then make a pass back to port in 8-12 fow to finish out the double limit on most days.

Flashers in white with MOONSHINE'S Blue smoothie fly was all you needed for the lakers. We presented 3 of these combos on the bottom rigger, 80' Dipsy and 120' Dipsy.

The Browns hit anything small that wiggled. Coho liked the Rapala GFR and red headed kaboom.

Spoons on the riggers were hot MOONSHINE'S Ratchet Jaw and Super Shadow were tops.

May -- to catch kings in May you fish the 44 degree water.... That is in 20-30' fow and the Blackjaws are there. The bite is high.....MOONSHINE'S Ratchet Jaw was on Fire on Saturday, on Friday it was the Raptor.

On the boards the Bomber long A and # 13 Rapalas in fire tiger was the best followed by black & silver.

Nice mixed bag.....6 species super slam on Saturday

Shaping up to be some of the best spring fishing I've seen since my start in '76!
