lead core on Cayuga question.

I've decided to run a lead core set up down the chute this year. I run wire on 2 and two rods on the riggers w/ sliders and now it 's time for a new challenge. I'm looking for advise on the # of colors I should spool up along w/ the backing? I normally all season from 1 week in april till the marina owner says get your boat out. Could you please help me out?

I run every thing from two colors of lead core all the way up to 15 colors on Cayuga. The first part of the year if I only had one choice would be a six color. After july would be a 10 or a 12 color. I would get one of the walleye bords (planer boards) from Church Tackle Co, and run it off the side. As for backing I use Power Pro usualy 150 yds per reel.
