Up for sale is my 17' 1989 Smokercraft Bass/ Walleye Boat.This is a phenomenal boat that has put me on a ton of fish. I really don't want to sell the boat, but mounting house remodel costs are forcing the sale.

This boat handles rough water extremely well and has provided a safe, dry, platform even in Lake Ontario 3-4 footers. I have re carpeted the boat within the last three years and all floors are bone dry as well as rock solid. The boat has ALWAYS been stored inside.

The boat comes equipped with a MotorGuide Brute 67 trolling motor with a brand new foot pedal and Cable steering. This motor is not a the usual old crap you see on used boats. It is a power house that moves the boat quickly. There are two nice batteries that are wired in parallel to provide you with all day power. There is also a kicker plate on the back of the boat to accommodate up to a 9.9 HP kicker motor for Walleye trolling.

I have installed a brand new live well pump on the boat and the bilge pump works great.

The 88 HP 1989 Evinrude on the back runs 100% PERFECT when run at ANY speed beyond no wake speed. At no wake speeds or idle, the motor will run fine for two to three min and then start to sputter. A simple pump of the fuel bulb gets the motor back up to speed and running fine. This points to a possible issue with a pinhole in the internal fuel line or diaphragm on the fuel pump. Both easy and cheap fixes for less than $100. I have never made the fix because the issue has really never affected me that much. I run the boat all the time and she runs MINT and frankly I am never just puttering along. I only include this info in the name of full disclosure for the new prospective buyer.

The trailer is totally functional and working with a newly wired light system and buddy bearings.
