Hi guys -

If you haven't yet had a chance to visit the Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum, then give it a try if you are even in the area.  The mission is to get this museum off the ground. They are trying to draw in people to see the collection. They are a non-profit and live off of donations.  Membership to the Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum is available.

If you would like to visit the museum when we are closed, you can schedule an evening appointment with Michael Riordan, the Director of the museum. He would love to give you, your family, your neighbor, your group or organization a private screening and tour of the museum. All he asks is a few days notice. He can be reached at (315) 374-2997.

New Interactive Displays and Theater! Check out our addition of a Multimedia Theater and 6 - Interactive displays. Thanks to the 2019 Community Foundation Grant, the museum has purchased 6 interactive displays that will display videos on Bamboo Rod Making, Lure Manufacturing, Historical presentations on B.F. Gladding, J.T. Buel, and other NYS Fishing History. The theatre will show videos about the Salmon River, BF Gladding Corporation, Kids shows about fishing and so much more!
