cold front

well it looks like we'll be fishing a cold front this weekend,(like things couldn't get much slower)I was wondering if anybody has any special tactics for front fishing,maybe a special lure or presentation that  has worked for them,I'll probably slow jig the points with a bucktail with some meat on it.

I dont know if I would do anything much different.  fishing fronts always is a crap shoot.  I know on erie they are in the shallows and hitting stick baits.  Renoskys, Reef Runners.  Run them shallow, and 100ft back. Chartreuse, Wonderbread, Crystallina, Silvers, and Clears.

I will try to changers the shape of my lure. Go from stickbaits to shorter crankbaits. Go from natural colors to brighter and vice versa

Slow your troll.  I have been very successful just by slowing down to 1.7 mph vs 1.9 mph SOG.
