Niagara Ice Boom

as of today there is 66% ice coverage on Lake Erie still..think the ice coverage has to drop to i think 25% but not positive on that.. the boom will NOT be pulled before april 1.... it was pulled on april 10th last spring

boy those satalite photos look a little better than that big diff in the last 2 days

Ice cover has to drop below 25 sq miles before they'll pull the boom

I wouldn't get too excited. The ice is now packed deeper and will disappear slower.

At the Oak is reporting a Buffalo TV station is reporting at least April 1st before boom removal.

Camera doesn't lie, its still there...

I had heard one of the big wind storms we had back in late Jan or early Feb had blown it into pieces and it was no longer intact???

There is ice pack along the shore from Niagara to Wilson. COLD!!!
