Walleye - Chaumont Bay - Launch site

i'm thinking of trying Chaumont Bay for the first time at some point this season to troll for walleye.  Is the best option for launching at the state launch off of Rt. 12 and troll the bay from there?  It also looks like there might be a launch out of Long Point State park on the peninsula - is that an option also or is it best to stick with the one off of Route 12.  Thanks.

Use the rt 12 launch. The one at the park is under construction right now and they aren't allowing people to use it.

How about launching at Guffin Bay Marina - has anyone fished out of there?  It seems like you could fish Guffin Bay and still scoot get into Chaumont Bay pretty quick.  I don't know how the fishing in Guffin Bay compares to the fishing in Chaumont Bay.

I drove by the one at Three Mile Bay and was wondering if is suitable for launching a 18' Lund ?

Kevin,I had my ssv 14 yhere three weeks ago after the perch you shouldnt have any problems. I was told that when you back the boat away from the dock there are some rocks on the opposite shore line in the water that you have to watch for . There were some bigger boats just ahed of me a big fiberglass and a lund rebel 1625. The water was higher than also.
