Took a drive down to the north launch this evening with the kiddos.  On one hand, I think your boat should float off the trailer. On the other hand, you may need a tow to get your car and trailer back on the roadway.... :P

Not good to hear. Have you looked at the Canadice launch ramp?

Not yet. Everyone in the house is sick, including me. Just took the hellions over there to give the wife a 30 minute break before bed time last night.

I launched out of the north end today no problem. Pulled my 450 lb wooden Lyman loaded with gear out using a front wheel drive minivan - didn't spin the wheels at all in 1st gear. Yes the water is higher than normal but no problem launching this afternoon. As for the fishing...the water has a high turbidity. My flasher / fly combos were invisible 2 ft down...I went 0/1 on a rigger 65 ft down 20 ft back (NK wonder bread)
