I plan to update this thread for your viewing pleasure with respectable highlights throughout the 2014 fishing season aboard the GO EASY and REEL HAPPY, both slipped in Henderson Harbor. Enjoy!

I like the blue lighting where did u get it

Posted (edited)

Courtesy of Nick (Lakebound88). I fished on his boat last year and he had these lights. I had to have em. They're awesome in the early morning when getting ready to go out.

Very nice FleetTracker, looks very organized and clean as a whistle, I realize when it's hot and heavy things get disarray, it's a lot of work but looks like you nailed it both with the boat and the eyes, best of luck to you till we meet which will be soon, I finished up hooking up my electronics to day and tomorrow it goes to get lettered up 1 WORM, and hopfully Brad has my light/ rocket bar finished then all I need to do is run my wires for my lights and RT81 north bound!!!! Your friend PAP.

Hey thanks for the link. What doe u do as far as a switch

I soldered two of the 16' sections of the LED strips together in series. Started routing them dead center of the back of the boat under the gunnels and went forward along each side of the boat until the length ran out. On the helm side I ran wires with an accessible inline fuse from the strip to the dash where I added a toggle switch. Pretty simple. Might take an hour or two tops.

I have a power distribution block under the dash. I tapped into an available lane.

Was a rough day on the water but still managed 4 eyes with a new crew aboard. They had fun.

Best day of the year with the first double digit catch, including a triple, and a double hook up. 10 for 10 no lost fish. What a year for eyes up here... Count is up to 41 eyes boated.
