this picture doesn't do it justice but this king was beyond skinny- 39"long and maybe 10lbs- most of that weight was its normal sized head

The Lampreys seem every where this year, I bet 90% of the fish I have seen and been around being caught (80+ this year so far) have marks, and bad ones.

I would apply that last statement to the last three years.

This year should be real bad for lamprey bites on fish because of the real cold long winter we had. The cold makes the fish go to the bottom of the lake for warmth along with all the other fish in the lake and that goes along with the lampreys.
