You did good! You guys going to be up again this weekend? We're headed up Friday till Sunday. Hopefully they don't move on with these warmer temps.

Chas- Going to try for Friday to Monday. When I left yesterday was still cool up there compare to home. Hoping to spend some time on water this weekend. Stop at bass pro to look for ur stickbait they were sold out ( lol) you ever use the rattling ones?

Pap - thanks I can't wait to get my daughter out just waiting for it to be a little warmer and less wind!

This pics are last year at 3 years old. She is as crazy as her dad is about fishing.

I have used both, the rattling ones seem to work just as well. I think they all have rattles.

Was up last weekend, off association island found nothing. And the bugs were brutal at camper, anybody know what they are called? They covered everything.

Mayflies? And as far as walleye on the rear hook, well that's just the norm as far ad im concerned. They seem to inhale the bait and fight alot harder when we get back on em in august. Maybe more aggressive in the warmer water.

Scot is up there today and thinks he caught one 10lbs.+  He threw it on the scale and it read 9.1 but he said his scale isn't working.  I had one on last weekend got it right behind the boat it had to of been over 30 inches then just turned and pop no more fish. I was in the process of grabbing the net.  I about cried.  I'm trying to get a few nice ones to make one of these.

Fished the east side this morning and caught two, One 6 and one 7 lbs. and a pike . Hit one in the first 15 minutes and then another about an hour later and that was it. We saw a few others boated. Both came off a Bomber with a couple small split shot off the board.
