Finally got out after a couple weeks of working on the boat and a busy schedule. Managed to put the first walleye in the new boat. Trolling a reef runner. Not to big. Probably around 4.5lbs. Felt great to finally get the stink off the boat. The new trolling motor works like a dream. It's do nice to just set it in a direction and forget about it while I set lines and do whatever. New fish finder is going on on Sunday. After that the boats almost complete. Tight lines!

Way to go! Try purpledesant in rapala or purple white belly from reef runner...both are hot trolling colors for me right now...just bought another 12. Have you tried casting or trolling at night? Im hoping to rebuild my carb so my boat will idle again....been tough to troll!

I like fishing 2 off the bow with 1 guy casting a floater close to shore and 1 casting a deeper suspender straight off the bow. If you wanna be real busy troll a rod or 2 while you do it. Keep covering water...youll find em
