I have a 7'+ Browning Medium to Medium Heavy rod just laying around. Would this be an ok rod to use for a copper setup? I would just need to buy a large enough Linecounter reel for it then

Add a twilly tip and a large reel no need for a line counter, if your like most you will end up have at least 3 on board, 350,450& a 600 LOL$$$$$$$$$ got to love this game !!

I have a large reel already but not a linecounter. its an older Penn. Bigger than my Okuma 300 class reels for sure

Don't need a line counter for copper. Just let it all out. Don't need a twillie either. Copper is soft. But yea you will want more than one.
