On my boat in a strait line 60ft on turns I have hit bottom in 100ft plus ft . General rule of thumb multiply section x 2.The signature that copper puts out is amazing the stuff crawls like a snake up and down. Not to many people talk about the 200 ft section but off the otters it has been a big fish producer for me . Spinny and fly. Summer thermal break in the top 50ft 200 is the way to go IMHO.

Like grand slam stated. Usually figure 22' per hundred , dive bombs add about 8' per ounce.
