 Has anyone been fishing Barcelona NY for walleyes? If so whats the depth that you have been fishing? Whats working best plugs or harness?

I have been.  the past two weeks.  Water temp there has been sporadic.  Some spots it was in the 55-57 degree range, and then within a half mile it would drop to 47 degrees.  If you can find the warm water, you will catch walleye.  I was using stick baits, spoons, and deep diving crank baits.  Most came off of the spoons.  I did catch some nice sized ones.  One slob at 12.5lb.  Averaging 10lbs

 

Pay attention to the wind…see where the warm water will be blowing to.

Yep same hear west of Dunkirk. We been getting them during the day also. 6 Thursday during the day and then did good again Friday. Top twenty five feet stick baits with three color and deep diving husky jerks. Lots of Bait up high, but Sunday the previous days north wind made things tough water temp was 44 on top. Friday was mid 50's surface temp.
