im looking to go fishing tommarow and dont feel like being in a crowded stream. ive already been out for perch a few times. i was thinking of fishing off einsenour in my boat.

i couldnt find any frozen smelt other than cleaned and beheaded, anyone use these?

i was thinking of jigging white flukes. anyone know if this would work?

um before you get to excited about hitting the lake you might check the weather supposed to by 25 to 30mph sustained with isolated gust to 40.that crowded stream might be a good option. jigging will work but not in those winds ,and with the new bait laws i dont think you should be anywhere near water without certified bait..........

tcooll,

I know the white jig thing was working at the end of last season. I dunno about the spring. The trick is to use a heavy enough jig head 3/4 to 1 oz and keep the boat stationary.

Good luck Rusty
