Got out with some friends Saturday morning on the Sandra D for a little salmon action and that exactly what we got. Hit the water just before six and set up shop in 80 ft heading north. Had a nice rip on the ten color over 100' and would continue to pick away at small steelhead and skippy kings out to 200'. Decided to head back to 100' where we had a lot of nice marks and bait which turned out to be the right call. Shortly after ten we started picking some nicer fish all between 100' and 110' right out front of the shoot. Got two nice chromers and two nice kings over the next hour. The steelhead took a ten color blue and pink stinger and the other took a grease trap on the 100 rigger( a first for us). One king came on the same ten color combo and the other took a purple dot spinny with a mirage fly on the 100 rigger. A great way to spend a Saturday!

That's wild.  :)  How fast were you running that grease trap when the steelie hit?

We stayed between 2.2 and 2.5 all morning. Never expected a steely on the grease lol
