After I tie a knot with braid to my copper and trim the excess, it has a frayed look to it. Can anyone recommend a glue to dab on there that will not weaken the line? Thanks in advance.

I've tried a couple different types of glue. No good results with gorilla or a two part epoxy. Gonna try fly head cement next.

I use clear hot glue. You can see inside it to assess condition and it holds if the knot should come loose. It doesn't take much and you can "shape" it while hot.

I use Superglue - it dries in about 10 seconds and works great to prevent fraying. I also dab it on the Albright knot from braid backing to my lead core sheath and have never ever had that knot fail

Berkley makes glue in a pen for this purpose - Google it

Good luck,

Aquaseal will give you the most effective bond with flexibility. Beats the crap out of super glue or 5200 for adhesion.
