HI all my name is scott and my wife and I are new to using downriggers. I recently bought a cannon manual downrigger and would like some tips on what kind of flashers and lures you all use. We are just naming our boat the little princess after our little dog who just past away. We enjoy fishing on the lakes and yet to fish out on lake Ontario we have only been in the alcove areas fishing/

For lake trout, use gold/chartruse Dreamweaver or Michigan Stinger spoons.
