Skaneateles 6/14

Took a quick boat ride on skaneateles today to look for some shallow smallies. Hit 6 fish in about 45 minutes, no monsters just some solid 2.5lbers. The wind wasn't bad but it was too much for my little row boat with trolling motor and no anchor. Hopefully back at it later this week.

I was there for fathers day, but we got out mid after noon (sun was high and bright) so there wasn't much shallow.  We caught a few in 20 or so feet of water.  We went back to shore and i shore casted for about an hour b/c they started to come in as the shadows came in later in the evening and I caught a few more smallies.   Where were you fishing?  I was over by Lourdes and then down on the south west side.  We don't get up to the North end much, but probably should.
