happy father's day to all. This is my old man back in the day. It appears my habit of not putting the plug in is inherited. Take your dad fishing while you can.

My guess is that more of us have done that than would like to admit. They say you learn from your mistakes but this is one of those things you can have a lapse of memory with. The first time is usually not the last.

Yes I shared that experience with my dad on my maiden voyage with my 13 ft Whaler way back when. I backed down into the water with my dad holding the lines at the marina and went to drive away and looked in the rear view mirror of my ancient F100 truck to see the boat filled with water....luckily we were able to get it back on the trailer. My dad laughed his ass off.   I can still see that image in my mind after all these years....

Pontoon is good for those who cant remember! I see it everyday as I watch the launch from my deck...its better entertainment than tv...if I get too warm I watch out the window with the ac cranking!
