Fishing Gear?

Hello everyone! I'm Kyle and I'm 20 years old. I am new to salmon fishing and I'm trying to figure out what kind of gear I should buy? I need help on rod, reel, line, lures.... pretty much the whole nine! Any information on that would be of great help! Thank you!

Get Okuma Classic Pro GLT down rigger and Dispy Diver rods.  Look at the Okuma or Daiwa line counter reels.  I personally spool my rigger rods with 14-17lb test Berkley Trilene 100% Flourocarbon line.  On my dipsys rods I use 30lb 7 strand wire, with 20lb Berkley Trilene 100% Flourocarbon leaders.  Look at the Dreamweaver Superslim spoons in black / green / white color combinations.  Same with Michigan Stinger spoons.  Buy some magnum sized ones as well.  These rods and reels will last you a long time and perform great.  When it comes to lures, the sky is the limit.  I have well over 200 spoons in my box.  But I would say I use about 25 of them nowadays.  The rest just take up space.
