Wanted Volvo work wanted

My father has a 2002 volvo Penta 5.0 on a Osprey 24'. The engine has been sitting for a few years. Looking for a someone that works on volvo's to get it up an running. The engine might need to be pulled.

Only has 700 hrs on he engine.

It is Chevy block with Volvo parts.  Anyone who works on a chevy can fix it.  Parts just usually cost a few dollars more.

I take my 2001 striper to Anchor marine in erie pa.,  certified mechanic...   

No back yard mechanic will ever touch any of my boats again, lesson learned the hard way.

Depending on where you live I would take it to Mike's Marina in Mexico, NY. It's where a lot of the charter captain's take their boats.
