Either anytime I can get in the water is best. I love the sunset but do seem to land more in the morning. Maybe I am paying more attention in the am.

Morning seems to happen more often but nothing replaces the sunset on the big lake when nobody is around and it's just the hum of the rigger cables or a screening drag.

I like both

Morning troll seems easier for me around New York.

When I am in Canada or at a place where I will dock my boat I like to troll in the evening after dinner until dark or maybe an hour after dark.

Very early morning, but either works well for me. Night trolling is effective too, but not near as enjoyable...especially for the guy who owns the boat and gear!

Depends on lake. On my water 7pm at night the switch turns on and stays on for no longer than 1 hour.

Sounds like our local lake "Beltzville" only thing the bite is any time between 10pm and 2am, I finally got my light bar made today will be wiring it up tomorrow and will adjust the lights out on the lake. Butch who is in partnership with my uncle and I with our camper at the Black River Camp Grounds did the welding that needed to be done. He has a welding shop at home by us. The man is amazing with his ability to fabricate things.
