Going to wellsley island this weekend for the 4th and some fishing, Anybody got tips on catching LARGE northerns, i try every year but never pull in anything bigger than 7 or 8lbs. Also wanted to try for some walleye and smallies. Always have a great time up. Have a great 4th Everyone!

Red and white daredevil, red & white Mepps 5 with rooster tail and weed less Johnson silver minnows. I have a friend Mr Huntley that lives up on the island and his brother owns the bait store up there.he could help too
