Salted minnows

Whats the REGULATIONS on these.....are they treated the same as LIVE MINNOWS.......where you need a reciept and have a shelf life of SEVEN days? Being already dead it dosent make sense that they would have a shelf life as live minnows...I mean salty's stay fresh for quite awhile ....the reciept part I understand.

Stopped at a local bait shop today and picked some up.....I was told I need

to carry thr reciept with me and to their knowledge theirs no expiration date on them.
