Wanted WTB: 17-18' Aluminum Boat

Looking for an aluminum boat without a working engine or missing altogether. Would need to be rated up to 125 hp outboard. Solid transom and floor a must. Open bow preferred. Electronics and gear not necessary. Working kicker motor included would be welcome.

I am in Rochester and willing to travel throughout the state within 180 miles.

start looking on Craigslist, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse. For example there is a Blue Fin Royal line on Buffalo craigslist with an old Chrysler, ditch the motor and you have a functioning boat.  The Royal Line Blue Fins from the mid 80's are a lot like the Sea Nymphs from the era(which I have)-good boats.

 

Having a motor available opens up many options.

I have been browsing those listings for several days.  Had not seen the one you mentioned but I'm going to check now.  I have a 125 hp mercury that I have been carefully maintaining, and hoping to transplant because I know what to expect from it.  And I have a ton of gear that I also want to move. 

 

But I'm also looking at whole boats that I can part out as needed.
