KICKER Issues

just picked a larger boat with a kicker plate and the only motor i have is a evinrude 6hp with hand throttle and it sucks to run that from the back of the boat. I cant get one of those handhelds the motor is to old. Any suggestions or part numbers for me

I run an 6hp Evinrude on a 20 ft boat. Same issue as you. I have become used to it, and kinda like it. When I turn into the wind, I have the throttle, since i'm usually on the back of the boat and have someone else driving. I can't help you with any alternatives, but would love to hear any suggestions. I'm not really too worried about changing mine, unless there is a good solution. Good topic.
