New to fishing Cayuga for browns and trout. I have fished the northern end a lot for pike and walleye. Was wondering if anyone has any luck over the years fishing for browns and LL's from Union Springs to Long Point or if it's best to head to the southern end? I would be using planers in the early spring.

Any help would be appreciated.

Seasquirrel,

I do know of some that have been caught in the North end of the lake and

seen in the spring in Fall creek.

I don't think there is enough of a population to make it worthwhile to strictly target them on Cayuga. You would probably have some of them getting in from the river at the upper end.
