Took my son and my wife out for a short troll and swim Monday afternoon evening.  We went south along west side with 200 and 300 coppers on boards with spoons and 2 wire divers with flasher flies at 150' and 170'.  The 200 copper took a hit after 15 minutes, my son Liam wanted to reel it in and he gave it a good effort but the fish came off.  I reset it and turned back north running more middle of the lake.  Turned once we got to the pumphouse near west side to head south again and the 150' wire fired with a green dot spin dr and glow gator fly.  That one was a good hit and came off as well.  It was hot out there so it was nice to get some bites despite the heat wave.  We bagged it and jumped in the lake to cool off before heading in.  Back at the dock at 6:45 pm.

I had a couple savage hits on flasher fly combos last time out running about 175 out and they didn't take either....when that happens I always wonder if they hit the flasher instead of the fly or something. I know I've had the chinooks do it on Lake O many times....even left teeth marks on the tape on the flashers
