Try this out. You should get some good info on this subject. I just installed the Furuno 620 and had it out Sunday for the first time. Had to make a couple of adjustments so I don't want to give you my opinion yet. I would like to use it a couple more times before I am an authority :roll:

Furuno 620 all the way. That is what I am running and have had since they came out. Great unit, since it was one of the first units to hit, I had a small issue in shallow water, sent it back and they reprogrammed the software, had it back in less than a week. NOt sure where you are looking to buy from, but check By Owner Electronics for the best price and free shipping. Good Luck with the new boat.
