I'm planning to fish Olcott starting on Thursday, I'm hearing that temps are all over the place.

If this is true, how important is the depth raider? Or should I just focus on finding bait pods?

There have been warm spots the last three weeks from ollcott to the bar. Low to mid 50s. Thats at 50' down. Bite stops when temp moves to low 40s.surface stays consistant. I wouldnt be without temp probe.

We found 50 degree water about ten feet deeper out of the oak Wednesday than we found on Tuesday.
