Went fishing at Red Lake last weekend. It was Pike city. Right out from the boat launch to the back of the lake the Pike were on, they were hitting on everything from flipping jigs, drop shots, cranks, and tubes. Me and my buddy had 4 30 plus inchers and many more 24 plus. Not to mention a couple walleye. All in all Red Lake has given me the best fishing opportunity all year.

Very cool. I live about 10 miles from Red but haven/t fished it in a few years as I'm usually fishing the big lake or St Lawrence. I may have to give it a shot sometime.

Good call. Just don't go there with bass in mind. You will catch some but the Pike own the lake now.

I fished it a few years ago while staying at a place on Moon Lake.  The fishing was good but there were snakes everywhere in the shallows - hundreds of them.  Made launching the canoe interesting...

Haven't seen many snakes this there this year, and at least there is a very low probability of them being poisonous.
