Started out as soon as this morning's storm passed. We stayed close since we had a sailor on his last morning of leave before he had to report back to his ship. First fish was a teen king in our port side out and down on a King Of Sting at 47'. post-146845-14068312656203_thumb.jpg

That fish tangled every line but one on that side of the boat - the corner rigger, wire diver and a ten color. While that mess was being cleaned up our probe rigger fired at 100' with a FLT gobie pattern spoon on a nice football brown. post-146845-14068314654883_thumb.jpg

Then we got a hit on our three color and our sailor was able to pull in a beautiful Steelie that hit on a Steelie Dan. post-146845-14068316093232_thumb.jpg

While clearing lines for our run back in another brown hit and our sailor was able to land king, steelbow, and brown on his last morning on Lake O before his Mediterranean cruise. post-146845-14068317901125_thumb.jpg

We are

Waiting out the weather to try to get in a late afternoon trip for the rest of the crew.

What water depth were you fishing? Sounds like you were in close if you were catching browns. I'm an Ohio guy coming up next week for a few days for our once-a-year-trip. Were other boats catching fish? Thanks for any info.

Fishing 80-120 fow this morning. On the water again this evening and the temp has moved a little deeper. We've lost a couple but landed a ten pound Steelie off our probe rigger on a gobie spoon at 97'
