Seneca lake, a joy (07- 30 to 08-1)

With the big O giving me trouble with my 19 footer and weather so unpredictable I headed for Seneca for a couple days. Although the weather continued to be in qustion we found laker fishing very good in 80 FOW. Camped at Sampson and was able to enjoy decent water and a catch every hour. Dodger and fly deep and fire tiger on dipsey to 50 FOW.

Seneca is usually  a neat alternative to Lake O. but depends on the wind velocity too Seneca can be a bear sometimes too. Sampson is a real good choice for fishing a lot of different areas and sounds as though you had the lakers pegged pretty well
