Bears

Bears keep on messing with my pear trees, breaking branches etc. How do I remedy this? They topped out 2 trees and broke branches on another. Its getting old.

Place your garbage in a plastic bag,pour one cup of ammonia in it. Seal it nicely and leave it out by the trees .....when the bear(s) burst the bag their sensitive noses get a whiff  of the ammonia and they'll never come back.

This was I did when I lived in the Poconos and had regular bear visits. The local game Warden told me to do this and worked like a charm.

I will be happy to remedy the problem come bear season.  Let me know.  Never see any around here.  lol
