Disposal of a boat.....?

Im buying a 96 2350 Hydo Sport with a blown engine, just for the trailer. I have NO intrest in keeping this as I already have two boats and more headaches then I can handle! Might strip it down and then it needs to be gone! Anyone know where you can take boats to get rid of them?

30 yard dumpster. That what had to do with my old one If you leave on the trailer you might have a better chance of someone taking it off your hamds

Yeah I iunderstand you buying it for the trailer  But trying to get rid of a junk boat is going to cost you money  Junkyards wont take them because their isn't enough scrap value to them. Landfills will require the gas tank be pulled.

The landfill in RIga will take it, as well as Alpco recycling in Macedon. Should cost you around $100 to dispose of it.

Not % 100 sure I want to throw the boat in the garbage as its solid as far as i know and in pretty nice shape , just needs an engine. Would definitely strip most of it before I did if thats the rout I take!

I'll have to dispose mine In a couple years as it's beginning to get old and soft, I was thinking of stripping any metal for scrap and slowly cutting it up and putting to the curb piece by piece.
