THE INCREDIBLE OAK!

Well, my week vacation starts today here at the oak! Pretty breezy morning today, saw no boats out in front of the oak. Looked to me to be about 2-4' waves out of the west. 19' boat+ grumpy lake=relaxation back at camp! Looking like tomorrow may be a blow day as well! I'll be at the oak all week so I'll keep an update on the lake and possibly a fishing report one of these days!

Don't be afraid to fish the bottom ten feet between 60 and 80. 1.8 to 2.2 with mags. Going to be browns in there and there's a good chance the King your looking for could care less about temp.

Lakes still grumpy this morning... forecast said 1-2' and its definitely 2-4'. Looks like another blow day... maybe it'll settle down for the pm bite.

Light and variable is my favorite forecast. This week was a wash for me as well with a small boat. Two weeks left of summer vacation before I head back to work. Hoping for some nice weather the next couple weeks.

Fish finder isn't working and i have no down temp. Roughly 400 fow 62 surface temp

Trolled out to 550' from 250' and never took a hit. Tried everything before it started to get bumpy and i decided to go in for lunch. Guess we'll have to try again tomorrow!
