Not a darn thing. My buddy and I figured there would have something but every fish didn't have a single thing in there belly.

All during the day, it was overcast and rained a few times. The time we were catching them was 10a.m. to 3p.m.

Thanks for the info. You give us hope that you don't have to fish at night to catch nice fish.

Ya not at all. You just need to pick your days. Bright sunny calm days are probably the worst possible walleye conditions.

There was a nice "walleye chop" of 2 footers. With little ripples.

We have also often found a 10:00 -2:00 bite fishing big fish on the lakes deep water shoals (30-50 fow) while I do much better at night when fishing the river. Strange but true.

  Well, metabolisim is in high gear and its not a big suprize to hear that they were empty. It certainly benifited your catch I'm sure. Nice work.
