Started on the SE side by the painted cliffs at around 120 FOW. Some bait, enough marks to give it a go, all scattered between 35-70'. Had 1 knock off on the 60' rigger. Very few fleas, lots of weeds.

Decide to head over to the west side and stayed out in ~250FOW. Fish numbers are less if you head in or out much. No bait, but fish again scattered 50-90'. Had 1 knock off so far, no one home. Less weeds on this side and no fleas. The screen shows the fish moving around between the riggers, but so far nothing had caught anything.

Might want to head over NE in front of the Hector Falls and see what is there.

I'm headed back east now. Water is relatively warm a ways down. 60' is still 63 degrees!

Don't be afraid to fish the landlocks and browns out of temp range right now....you go deep and you'll run into the lakers down in Lakerville

We picked up a 5-6lb rainbow out deep (over 400'). Lost it at the back of the boat. 55' rigger with a FLT spoon. Green glow something or other. We are back on the east side north of hector. Lots of bait.

Found lots of bait in closer also. Got one skippy landlocked. Hooked up bad, so in the box he went. 16". My boat looked like a crime scene. He bled all over, flopped a few times and blood wad everywhere.

You north guys are animals! Next trip I will be up to that end.

We threw everything at those fish today and only put one in the boat. Some days you're the dog, others you're the hydrant.
