Just bought a 91 sabre v216 sst2. Previous owner took all of the livewells out. Anyone out there have one of these and could send me a pic or two of how the livewells are setup? Planning some work and trying to determine if it is worth while to try and replace them or continue using the room for storage. Thanks.

I have the 24 sabre and my live well is under the driver seat. I use it for browns and small kings. Its plumbed from the back with the pump in the back and drained out the side. I like it due to no cooler in the way.

Thanks for the info. On the transom of mine looks like there are three drains sealed. How is yours set up? Guess I am going to have to pull the floor board on that side and see what they did down there. If possible could you send a picture of how your live well is set up? Thanks for the help.

Livewells do not preserve fish for consumption. Pouring 72 degree water from the lakes surface just cooks and kills the fish. If you are going to eat the fish, place them in a cooler with a lot of ice after you remove the gills and entrails.
