Did you try inside at all or run right out to 200 fow? We may try Sodus in the morning, what is the best public launch this time of year?  We used Warren's once in  early spring but the water was pretty skinny then.

We started in 100fow and pointed her north. Circled some hooks in 200fow, but no luck. Friends of ours started in 50fow, some marks but no luck.

Got to try the new Abu reel on that steelie!

It isn't in the same league as my Tekotas, but not bad for the price point. Theresa did manage to pull back on the reel handle and nearly freespool, so we will need to be careful there.
