Hello,

 

My name is Mike. I'm from the Greater Cleveland area of Ohio. I don't own a boat. I just retired after 40 Years. My best fishing Buddy owned a boat and we fished Lake Erie for years. Unfortunatly,  he passed away a few years ago at a young age. I fish all year, Smallmouth, Perch, Walleye on Lake Erie during the spring, summer and fall. In the fall and winter, I Fish for Rainbow Trout in the in-land lakes and Steelhead in our rivers,

 

I was hurt and off for 11 months in 2012, in 2014 I had back surgery in February and was on sick leave till July 1, 2014 when I retired. I'm taking easy it right now to allow my back to heal. I've been Flyfishing Oak Orchard, Johnson Creek and the Burt Dam area for years with my buddy. Now I fish it with my Grandson and sisters. Usually fish it on a long weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in October. Stay at Captain's Cove Resort.

 

Captain's Cove sent me info on the Site Restrictions for the Waterport Dam area and Oak Orchard River. I was wondering if ther is a map showing the restricted areas ? Please let me know if there is and where i can get a copy.

From what understand , no fishing below the dam. But again I'm not 100% sure
