Went to the river tonight with my daughter, not knowing what to expect after all the rain we have gotten. First placed I tried caught one gobie and a 23" eye was caught on a jigging spoon in 65 fow. It got around prime time so I switched over to my heavy BB and stick bait and started to troll made several short trolls in a couple of different spots with know luck. I then went back to a spot that can be good doing either trolling or jigging, threw on the spoon and the second drift caught a 27" in 35 fow, was not a great night but it was not a bad night considering the weather we have had. My daughter was happy to be aboard since the last time I went she was gone camping with her grandparents.
