so I mounted my go pro to my downrigger back and have fished with it a few times and will no luck, either that rod didn't fire or the camera angle was way off. Well yesterday we got it ! and its pretty cool to see it actually happen, the fish took 5 shots at it and missed a minute before it actually got the hook. I haven't edited it down yet so you cant just skip thru the dead footage and here are the times you will see something

4:20 a nice fish darts in from the right and misses it

13:55 a nice fish comes in on the left of the bait and takes a peak

14:25 here is the action, comes up and strikes at it atleast 5 times

15:25 Fish on!

fished out of olcott yesterday and this was in 250 fow 58ft down in 44degress

0:18 in and 8:10 is a really cool shot of a fish checking out the other SD

You have to upload it to Youtube and then post a link to Youtube.

Chad - the dude that runs this site may also be able to chime in

Doubt it - you will have to save it as "Youtube format" using your editting software in order to upload. The Cineform program has this built in

video is finally up!, i watch all my footage and spotted 9 kings and only had one fish actually hookup...better change some things up

What Go Pro are you using? And how are you mounting it on the cannon ball?

For editing try Windows Movie Maker, it comes with most Windows.

Then post it on YouTube. Then the link here.

Do you have the White? Black? or Silver? Go Pro. Just showed your video to my wife and i know she is trolling for Christmas ideas lol

Cool stuff - amazing how long they follow the lures and dart in and out, only to come back later for the fatal pounce.

Thanks very much for sharing,

silver hero 3, yea we hardly marked any fish and as you can see that first fish showed up behind the gear 4 minutes after dropping lines. I'm wondering why the others didn't try and strike....also the noise that comes of the gear is pretty loud. I should have another video up shortly

Cool video, what dô you think is the noise from, the cable? Also it's seems at times, mostly whe fish appear, the SD is jumping all around, could you tell what speed you were doing and was it from speeding up or making a turn? Awesome stuff thanks for sharing.
