Bobcat on Camera

Here is a picture of a Bobcat that i got on my Cuddeback this weekend.  I've only seen a few before, but looks like a pretty big cat to me.

pretty neat Sean....haven't seen one in years. they can be pretty good scrappers too...not someting you want to "corner"

As brown as that cat is, it is easy to see why people think they saw a mountain lion.

I agree Gill-T, if someone saw that "flash" through the woods i could see how someone could confuse it with a mountain lion.  I talked to a guy at work that said that bobcat's coat won't stay that color for long as it will soon be transitioning into it's winter coat which will consist of a much more gray color.

 

And Les, i think i'll take your word for it, not something i'd want to corner
