We were invited to do the shake down with Werner and Toni, of Popeye Charters. First I have to say that the hardtop on the POPEYE is AWESOME, I did not reconize the boat at first. It is a totally differant boat, with the back drop, the girls were nice and warm with the wind blowing out of the NNW. We headed out later in the afternoon, the water was real muddy, warmest temp we found was 47. We headed west a little and had one release on the Savant Jake Bumble Bee on the rigger. Bryn picked up where she left off last year on the boat, she handled her first Brown like a seasoned pro. After a little while longer it started to build so we pulled the rigs and headed for the barn. We did 2 things we wanted to do, 1: shake down, everything running great, and 2: first blood on the deck for the year.

I want to Thank Toni and Werner for the invite, and we look forward to doing it again, hopefully the next time it will be a little warmer. Here are a few pics from today, with a couple of the boat.
