Just picked up 2 Riviera man.downriggers

Have weights

Rods reels fish finder spoons

Any tips on set up would be extremely appreciated. I really do not care if it is a laker or salmon just love catching fish.

Yes, thank you , question what lb. Line and what brand do you like.....I use Suffix on all my bass fishing reels (floro,mono,and braid).

I used to user big game 15 lb in spring and 25 lb mid summer on. I switched to McCoy mean green 20 lb on my high riggers and split shot rigs and 25 lb on deep riggers and really like it. I'm not a big fan of fluorocarbon.
