Id like to try a slide diver for Lake O trout and salmon but there are 2 types regular and lite bite. Any suggestions on which would be better for the lake? I like the idea of having the lure as far back as you like behind the diver instead of limiting it to the rod length like a dipsey. Thanks. BP

For salmon the regular works just fine . We use braid on a diver rod and wire on a roller rod . They have their days when they are hot they are hot. A lways have a pair on the boat . There is a learning curve but once figured out they work well.

Yes I have a few lites use them for wallys . Salmon and trout hit hard and the light is not necessary but you can use the lites and by pass the lever it works like a standard diver that way .

Regulars work fine on Lake Ontario. I run a section of mono on my wire for the SD. I use light bite SD's on Lake Erie so I'm not towing small fish around.

I am in need for replacement tubing for the regular slide divers.  Any suggestions on a good place to track some down?
