lake conditions?

How's the lake look today? Anyone out of Rochester area? I see its a nw wind but alot of times they get it wrong? Thanks

It's still pretty choppy. It's supposed to settle down later today. I live in Kendall on the lake and I can see lots of white caps.

Was up at sea breeze a few hrs ago, 2-3 occasional 4chop out of the nw. Looked pretty nasty on the horizon rolling. Hoping it settles down for tomorrow am.

Wife and I went out of Hughes about 7:30 and she was "complaining" it was to rough.  So we turned around at Pultneyville and headed back to Hughes.  They were definitely big rollers though so maybe I can't blame her.  Supposed to be better tomorrow but of course I have to work.

Went out with daughter and a couple friends at IBay around 5. Thought it might have settled. Did not settle enough to go

out to 80 feet to try for the salmon.  Turned around hung in the bay for a couple hours.   Too bad the perch are not in there yet.

I belong to the pultneyville yacht club,These guys raced sunday and when they came in about three said the wind had not died much.

I tried sailing a few weeks ago and loved it. We sailed from our port to sodus and back.Average speed with a good south wind was 7 knots.Definitly going to look for a boat this fall.You can always (usualy) go sailing if the lake is to rough for fishing.Ill just have 2 docks to pay for.

The best of both worlds.Enjoy life at is fullest.
